Contains the 2 stories which appeared in Strange Tales, "The Cairn On The Headland" and "The People Of The Dark" which features a guy named Conan as the main character. Predates the first Weird Tales appearance of Conan the Cimmerian by several months.
This volume also contains "A Thunder Of Trumpets" by Howard and Frank Thurston Torbett, a rarity from Weird Tales, and the classic "Black Canaan".
Also included is a letters column from Strange Tales. Intro by Dennis McHaney. Illustrated. 176 pages. Hardcover available until December, 2008.
