Kara Karayev was one of the most prominent figures in the music of twentieth-century Azerbaijan, and an inspiration to subsequent generations of Azerbaijani composers. His eloquently expressive and tautly dramatic First Symphony is a significant work in Karayev's output, reflecting both the harmonies and melodic characteristics of the South Caucasus region and, in it's orchestral brilliance, the influence of his mentor Shostakovich. LOVE IT!

I love it. It’s very pretty and simple, in a good way. I plan to use it for all my jewelry and not just for travel. I like that it has a lot of hooks for necklaces and plenty of space for earring and rings. The fabric inside and out seem to be good quality. It’s well made and zips easily. The structure is sturdy as well. The color (white) is just as depicted. I think I got the larger size but it doesn’t feel bulky at all. I like that it comes with an extra pouch for bulkier items. It’s one of the best jewelry boxes I’ve had!
