Description

Oh, and another thing...Whether you are applying for a job or in conversation with someone new, you will probably be asked about your hobbies and interests. Having penned two books about travelling and work, I thought I should complete the trilogy by confessing to some of the slightly odd things I have done for fun. These include cycling, which didnt end well: What was intended to be a stylish wheelie manoeuvre across the loose gravel turned into more of a flying circus

Whether you are applying for a job or in conversation with someone new, you will probably be asked about your hobbies and interests. Having penned two books about travelling and work, I thought I should complete the trilogy by confessing to some of the slightly odd things I have done for fun.

These include cycling, which didnÕt end well: ÒWhat was intended to be a stylish wheelie manoeuvre across the loose gravel turned into more of a flying circus demonstration.Ó

You will also discover much about outdoor exploits, including caving, climbing, and long-distance walking.

Travelling for pleasure has its tribulations, too. When the receptionist of the Italian motoring organisation exclaimed, ÔPronto! Pronto!Õ our friend responded, ÔIÕm going as fast as possible!Õ As the tension levels rose higher and higher, it soon became evident that pronto means hello!

Here, you will have another opportunity to read a light-hearted book about all the things I forgot to tell you in TravelWorks and HomeWorks!

Great debut from Kodama Tales
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Quality wise the book is top notch. The paper is thick with basically zero bleed through, and on top of that the color pages are included as well. As this is my first time reading Baki I can't give a comment on the wider story, but what's contained in this volume is some solid dumb fun.

"She was dead when I got there," Mom casually said
Format: Paperback
I've faithfully followed Living the Line's Smudge manga releases up to this. Actually I had this one preordered for ages but Amazon never shipped it to me and I only noticed it was in stock by chance. I had to cancel and reorder it. What the heck, Amazon? Anyhow, it's definitely a horror story but also a species of superhero story, or at least a person-with-superpowers story, without the encumbrances of lore, heavy character- or world-building, a continuing narrative in a shared universe, or anything else. There's really nothing you could call a plot. Stripped down and even rough as it is, it's utterly engrossing, surreal reading for me. A lot of my manga reading is horror but I've also been enjoying superhero manga like this or, for example, Hikari-Man FAR more than anything from the Big Two because of the greater freedom the Japanese works exhibit in how they conceptualize power(s) and heroism.

Awesome graphic
Format: Kindle
This graphic tale is engaging, thought providing. Leads you into taking another look into the events of the past as you grew up in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Cool blend of a crazy bend of history, horror, and secret organizations of control.
