Summer Seagulls, Sand & Sea Fused Glass Necklace, aqua blue, silverThe item listed is a fused glass necklace that was handcrafted in my studio in Washington, NJ. This necklace was created by using a combination of glass fusing techniques. The grainy sand appearance was done using the science of chemical reactions. All glass was cut and layered before being heated in a kiln to a full fuse. After the first full fuse, it was capped and put back in for another full fuse. The item listed is a fused glass necklace that was handcrafted in my studio in Washington, NJ.

This necklace was created by using a combination of glass fusing techniques. The grainy sand appearance was done using the science of chemical reactions. All glass was cut and layered before being heated in a kiln to a full fuse.  After the first full fuse, it was capped and put back in for another full fuse.

After firing the piece was then cut using a ring saw and sanded on a grinder. I then used different mixtures of enamel to add the waves and seagulls. Finally, it was put in the kiln again to be fire polished in order to set the enamel and give the piece a final shine

This necklace is approximately 1 inch X 2 inches and includes a 18 inch silver plated snake chain. It will ship in a lovely gift box with an organza ribbon.

Honestly, this is pretty nice!

At first I was a little disappointed in the design of this device because the mat and the charger are two separate pieces; but the magnet that is connecting them together is pretty strong, so I ended up not minding it. The magnet in the charger is pretty strong too, though, so the whole thing tends to lift up when you pick up your phone - this is my first MagSafe charger, so perhaps that is standard with these, I wouldn't know. As you can see in the picture, this isn't your standard mouse pad. It's leather on one side and felt on the other (you can pick which side you want to face up, which is a nice design feature, I suppose). It's smooth and wipes off easily but really collects fingerprints and hairs. It's also a good size. Not too big, not too small. I was a little worried because it's smaller than my older mousepad but I haven't suffered for it. I may even prefer this smaller size if I'm being honest. I'm not sure if I like the feeling of the leather side against my arm/wrist, though. The mouse has no problem reading it but it's just not very soft. I do notoriously dislike change though so maybe that's just a me problem LOL. All in all I'm happy with this and would suggest it!
