The SMP is a directional board with a rear-weighted stance and a slightly longer nose. It brings functionality in deep snow and stability for fast descents, without sacrificing park characteristics. With a midwide width, the SMP handles well in a variety of snow conditions and allows for deep turns up to EU 44-45 boot sizes.
Flex 6/10. The board is lubricated at the factory with 100% biodegradable lubricant.
Power pods: Located at the bindings, the pods help the ski grip hard snow and ice. They also reduce heel and toe impact.
Powercore: Wood core made from poplar wood, or more familiarly aspen. The best combination of lightness, durability and good landing feel.
Bi-lite laminates: The board's wood core is laminated in two directions: This provides durability and excellent landing feel.
Sintered speed Formula HD base: Fast sintered base. Easy to lubricate, easy to get going.
Dual degressive sidecut: The snowboard sidecut combines a shorter turning radius in the middle and a longer turning radius cut at the ends of the board. The most relaxed and playful option.
Cam-out camber: A sharp, cutting footing between the bindings that eases into rocker before the nose and tail. The perfect combination of edge grip and playfulness.
Nitro is an ecological choice. The wood material for this board comes from sustainably managed, FSC-certified forests.
Nitro's board production is 100% carbon neutral: CO2 emissions have been fully accounted for, calculated and offset. Snowboard production is 100% solar powered.
In addition, Nitro's snowboard production utilizes water-based inks, recycled raw materials, and recycled steel in the decks.
