The AHB cable is pre-assembled at the factory, so the installation process is simple…and monitoring its operation couldn’t be easier since it features a built-in energy-saving thermostat and clearly visible power indicator light. You’ll enjoy years of trouble-free service because these rugged cables are constructed with a tough XLPE inner insulation, continuous ground braid, and a weather-resistant PVC outer jacket. Each cable is UL Listed to Canadian Safety Standards and CSA Certified when used in accordance with the installation instructions on water-filled metal or plastic pipes.

  • AHB cables keep water flowing through plastic or metal pipes at ambient temperatures down to -40°F (-40°C)

  • The cables come pre-assembled and ready to install right out of the box

  • Keep your water pipes flowing for only nickels per day…the energy-efficient AHB cables only consume 7 watts per foot of cable

  • For use on plastic or metal water-filled supply pipes at least three feet in length and up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter only

  • The circuit supplying the AHB cable must have ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection.

  • Be sure to follow all the installation instructions supplied with the cable and to make sure the installation complies with all national and local electrical codes

  • Installation supplies needed: scissors, tape measure, file to remove burrs, marking pencil, eye protection, EasyHeat HCA application tape or similar electrical tape, and 1/2-inch wide fiberglass or equivalent non-flammable pipe insulation with vapor seal

It's 2 panels holding 1 big privacy screen. Can't use as 2 separate 4' panels, but works great.

This 2 panel privacy screen works well. Assembly was very straight forward, with easily labeled tubes. My son and I had it together in about 10 minutes, which was probably 3 minutes of me telling him to quit playing around and hand me the parts. It feels very sturdy, not likely to fall over or anything. The material fits well, with the Velcro being very strong. Measurements are all very accurate, with all pieces attaching properly. We have a similar privacy screen at work that we have to try and stretch out because the top and bottom Velcro doesn't fit quite right... this model does not have any issues though. The material is thin and light weight, but solid black so that you can't see anything through or behind it. I definitely think it's a great deal for the money. What I think would have given it 5 stars though, is if you had 2 totally separate 4' panels instead of 2 panels with one big screen. It really wouldn't cost any extra to make it so that the screen was in 2 pieces and you could use it as 2 separate panels instead of having to use it as one big panel. It says 2 panel folding privacy screens, but it's really one big one that folds in the middle.

The wall works great , and I put it together by myself. I only gave it what I did because I have to move one or two of the panels on one end around a bit daily to make an opening to pass through. I find I have to check the screws that hold those legs/feet on frequently and retighten them. Beyond that everything was pretty good quality. (I ended up magnetizing an Allen wrench to one of the feet.) I also put on motion lights to the rollers so you’ll see them and don’t trip.
