Dit is een gitaar die je normaal alleen op een NAMM Show ziet: de Taylor Custom Dreadnought is een remake van BTO #27-1060, een instrument dat Taylor speciaal liet bouwen voor de beurs en dat nu in nagenoeg mint conditie beschikbaar is. Mastergrade Hawaiian Koa op rug en zijkanten, een Sitka Spruce top en afwerking tot in het kleinste detail. Het geluid combineert het beste van twee werelden: de helderheid en projectie van Sitka Spruce op de top, met de warme, complexe toon van Mastergrade Koa op rug en zijkanten. De Dreadnought body geeft dit instrument volume en body, terwijl de X-Brace constructie zorgt voor een open, gebalanceerde respons. De V-Carve halsvorm ligt comfortabel in de hand en nodigt uit tot langdurig spelen. De Taylor gold tuners houden de stemming stabiel, ook bij intensief gebruik.

Het ebbenhouten griffielbord is versierd met Tropical Vine inlays in abalone en mother of pearl, een detail dat de exclusiviteit van dit instrument onderstreept. De mensuur bedraagt 25.5" met 20 frets, de pickup is aanwezig voor versterkt spelen en het instrument wordt geleverd met een hardcase. De gloss finish is vlekkeloos.

Air gets trapped in the filter so it won’t fully steep

Filter doesn’t let air out. It’s weird about all these positive reviews bc I tried cold brewing tea two times overnight but the filter holes are so small that basically it traps a large air bubble inside with the tea leaves. The water was barely steeped. It was weird enough to the point where I thought there must be a clear film on the filter that I hadn’t removed. When I loosen the lid all do the air rushes out and it fills w water, but when you tighten the lid any air inside with your grounds/leaves is trapped and prevents steeping. I kept thinking it was me based on all of these positive reviews but I could not prevent the massive about of air from getting trapped in the filter. If they made the holes bigger (not too big to let grounds out but currently you could mistake it for plastic film) then it would’ve been perfect. Nice size and about what I’d drink in a day or so. Change the filter hole size to let air flow out and I’ll buy it back!
