ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Is the Guernica we know the one that Picasso really painted?
What was Falcó doing in Paris in the spring of 1937?

Arturo Pérez-Reverte and Lorenzo Falcó are back with a story of sabotage.

"The dwindling light from the window and its optical effects on the glass gave a soft reddish tint to the enormous canvas; as if it, before becoming reality, was already beginning to slowly bleed. And suddenly, it all made sense.

'It will be called Guernica, ' said Picasso."

May, 1937. A civil war continues its bloody path in Spain, but fighting continues even in the shadows, far from the battlefields. A double mission brings Lorenzo Falcó to Paris with the objective of preventing the Guernica that Picasso is painting from arriving at the international exhibition where the Republic will try to gain international support. Although Europe is already feeling the winds of the new war that will devastate the continent, happy music continues to play, and art, business, and frivolity are still on the minds of intellectuals, refugees, and activists. Accustomed to danger and crisis situations, Falcó must this time face a world in which a battle of ideas takes precedence over action. A world that is foreign to him, and to which he must apply his own methods...

In Sabotage, Arturo Pérez-Reverte constructs a masterpiece that engrosses the reader until the last page and completes the trilogy starring Falcó, the most fascinating literary character of our time.

Amazing Read and Crucial to Black Empowerment in America
Format: Paperback
This book should be in every black home in America, it shows in clear and evident words the flaws in America towards African Americans even into the modern day, as well as the reasons for the various obstacles to progress and change for the Black Community. An all around well-rounded read for any Black soul that is a must have to understand the reality they will endure and how they can achieve the reality they deserve.

Good gift but particular gift for this difficult person to shop for
Format: Paperback
Got this as a gift for a friend and he was hard to shop for even after asking his wife. He's not a handyman, or a tech savvy man. He cooks, and is a well read man with interests in politics and psychology, he's not at all a gamer either. He doesnt DO much but work, it's not like he works out, golf's or anything like that... And they have a Brady bunch family and all she gave me to go on was he likes malcol x. And this author is more Malcom x than mlk and aggressive in views (when being compared to MLK) but is also very intertwined with their philosophies as he was IN it... According to the person I gave the gift to. Basically he loved it! So

Great Book.
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.
