Description

PRS presents an affordable, market-leading solution in the aftermarket downpipe space, designed to offer peak performance on stock and upgraded turbocharger applications for the VW MK7 & 7.5 Golf GTI.

Featuring a market-leading 4 inch top section, leading down to 3.5 inch end-to-end post flex-join for absolute maximum flow and 304 grade sheet-alloy blanketing, preventing drivetrain heat soak.

Why is a 4 inch downpipe the perfect way to go?

4 inch downpipes have been tried and tested for years on the VW MK7 & 7.5 Golf platform, showing an increase in turbo response of up to 15%. This is not just limited to upgraded turbocharger applications either, these improvements can be experienced with the stock IS38 turbocharger as well.

Why only 4 inches at the top and not throughout?

After extensive testing via bench-flow simulation and dyno tuning we have discovered that the difference between 3.5 and 4 inches post flex-join is negligible at best, however, when comparing to traditional 3 inch post flex-join sections we saw a 30% + increase in flow, meaning that a 4 inch top section and an end-to-end 3.5 inch post flex-join section is the perfect combination.

Heat shield (sheet-alloy blanketing) looks funny, cheap even, what's the point?

Most stock cars will see exhaust systems exceed temperatures over 500 degrees Celsius after an hours worth of urban driving, this is why we are now seeing manufacturers apply this race-derived technology to every day consumer cars as it is proven to contain heat emissions by up to 70% which if not contained will ultimately spread throughout the drivetrain and hamper performance.

Now imagine how much hotter your modified car can get after a spirited drive or even a night at the strip/track? Trust us, if you want to prevent drivetrain heat soak and maintain peak performance, you'll want the heat shield.

See below the benefits of heat shielding.

Some of the more "boring" "bells and whistles" you'd expect from a "top shelf" downpipe such as:
- Argon gas treatment
- SS304 grade steel material
- Tig welded joints
- Mandrel bends
- Oversized flex-join
- Heaty shielding
- Cerakote finish (In areas without heat shield applied)
- Up to 40kw gains when ECU tuned
- OEM mounting positions
- Built-in reducer (For 3 and 2.75 inch exhaust systems)

INCLUDED:
- Downpipe
- Installation hardware

Can Bree lead her team to victory?
Format: Hardcover
Swim Team by Johnnie Christmas is a graphic novel that follows Bree, a city kid from New York who moves to Florida due to her dad's new job. Excited to join math puzzles on her first day at her new school, Bree instead finds herself being assigned to swim 101, but there is just one problem: Bree can't swim. Faced with potentially failing the class, Bree's elderly neighbor Etta, who was once a swim team captain, offers to teach her. With Etta’s training and a lot of hard work, Bree suddenly finds herself on the school's failing swim team. With her school considering selling the land the pool resides on, Bree is determined to lead her team to victory at the state championship and save the pool. This book touches on topics such as anxiety, racism, family dynamics, sports, and friendship. I found the honest exploration provided a powerful lesson of how our circumstances shape us but don't control us. As a former swim team captain myself, I really resonated with this book: I felt it perfectly captured the swim team dynamic, and the high-action illustrations of swim team meets were breath-taking. Personally, I found this book to be wonderfully nostalgic; I could almost smell the chlorine and feel the diving block beneath my feet as I read it. Overall, I think Swim Team would be a major hit in elementary and middle school libraries. @TheHeterogeneousReader
