De Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Pink Showers' bloeit roze. De bloeimaand is vanaf mei tot en met september. De Toscaanse jasmijn 'Pink Showers' is groenblijvend en verleent zich uitstekend om op te binden langs de pergola, schutting, gevel of muurtje. Goed te combineren met klimplanten als de klimroos, hopplant en Clematis. Deze soorten kunnen ook worden aangeplant als bodembedekker. Zonder begeleiden klimmen ze eenvoudig over de grond in een onderhoudsvrije border.

Deze soort Jasmijn is beperkt winterhard tot ongeveer -12 graden Celsius. In koude wintermaanden dient u de voet van de plant af te dekken met stro, mulch of een bladerdek. Wij leveren deze klimplant als volwassen hoogte met een grote potmaat. Zo is deze Jasmijn beter bestand tegen extreme weersomstandigheden als droogte en vorst.

Standplaats en aanplanting in de tuin of border

Prachtig tegen uw schutting of langs de pergola. De Sterjasmijn staat het liefst op een zonnige plek in uw tuin. Ze zijn geschikt om aan te planten in plantenpotten en bakken. Vraagt verder weinig onderhoud. Geef bij langdurige droogte regelmatig wat extra water. Gebruik bij het aanplanten altijd goede aanplantgrond. Hierin zitten micro-organismen en schimmels die het bodemleven stimuleren. Dit bodemleven zorgt op haar beurt weer voor gezonde tuinplanten. Met een goede start maakt u de tuin of border dus onderhoudsvriendelijker.
