Deze prachtige rode wijn is voor 100% gemaakt van Primitivo druiven uit het gebied Manduria. Dit gebied staat bekend als het beste gebied voor Primitivo. De wijn ondergaat een malolactische fermentatie in RVS tanks. Rijping in gebruikte Amerikaanse en Franse eikenvaten voor 6-8 maanden.
Deze Primitivo di Manduria heeft een robijnrode kleur met tinten van violet. In de neus komen intense, complexe, fruitige aroma’s naar voren met hints van klein rood fruit, zoals kersen en bramen. Deze wijn heeft een fluweelachtige textuur met een zwoel karakter, rijk aan zachte tannines en heeft een lange afdronk.
Uitstekend geschikt met pasta, lamsvlees, wild en gekruide kazen.
