Anthony Aubert en Jean Charles Mathieu zijn twee vrienden die besluiten hun krachten te bundelen om wijnen naar hun beeld te vormen: modern en met respect voor het milieu. Deze moderne en toegewijde visie speelt zich af in de beste terroirs van de Languedoc-Roussillon in de buurt van Carcassonne. Deze ambitie van een moderne wijngaard wordt niet alleen gematerialiseerd door de verpakking, maar ook door een sterk ecologisch geweten. Het doel is om hoge kwaliteit wijnen te produceren, maar met het milieu in hun achterhoofd. De nieuwe Kate en Amy wijnen zijn gebaseerd op twee kunstenaars uit het einde van de 19e eeuw. Hun ontmoeting symboliseert ook de ontmoeting tussen de Oude Wereld en de originaliteit van de Nieuwe Wereld van wijnen. Kate d'Aubert en Mathieu is een van hun laatste vondsten. Deze witte variant bestaat uit honderd procent Sauvignon Blanc die geoogst zijn biologische percelen. De bodem bestaat voornamelijk uit kalksteenklei, wat zorgt voor bijzondere eigenschappen. De druiven worden 's nachts geoogst om alle versheid van de druiven te behouden. In de wijnmakerij worden de druiven vervolgens ontsteeld en voorzicht geperst. Kate Sauvignon Blanc heeft een mooie bleke kleur in het glas. Het is een expressieve wijn die de kenmerken van Sauvignon goed weerspiegelt. Gross Texture - Weirdly Soft

These are literally the nastiest possible version of a meat stick I've ever had.
Bought them for the price and for lunches to take to work. As it would turn out, I couldn't give them away to family. Everyone who bravely tried it were met with the same gross, weirdly soft, texture. No matter if it was refrigerated or room temp - it was eerily soft I felt like I was eating baby food. The flavor was... Fine? I guess. It didn't wow me either way, just kinda existed. They are also pretty small, I expected more than 4in per item for the price. I thought the price was good when I thought they were bigger, but when I discovered they were smaller, the price became less worth it.
Overall, I'm not sure who the target audience for these it because adults and kids alike did not like them or their weird texture.

I’d rather reviews on these before purchasing them and I didn’t think I was gonna like it. I seen a lot of bad reviews lotta negativity, but I was impressed. They’re actually good a little greasy not too much. They were not mushy at all. Remind me of a slim gym, but not that greasy. I normally eat a different brand, but I really like this and I will buy it again. I recommend it. I wasn’t going to try it because a lot of the reviews weren’t too good that I was reading but they’re good. I like them, but I’m glad I tried it and they are zero sugar.

Good Food

I have had South African Billtong before and I loved it, so I thought I would try SA Droewars and see if they were as satisfying. The answer is yes! They are delicious and nothing like your typical mass marketed jerky snacks sold in the US. Droewars are lightly seasoned beef jerky sticks and, although I have not seen the numbers, they seem to be only lightly salted (important for me). The meat is not chewy or grisly, so the beef cuts they use must be prime.
This is the first time I have tried the Ayoba-Yo brand and I am happy with my purchase. I am awaiting delivery of several varieties of Billtong from Ayoba-Yo presently and I will report back.
Not inexpensive, but the value is there for sure.

Almost not edible

I am south african, an afrikaaner. I grew up eating droewors and biltong. I'm not sure what went wrong with this product. I have to believe it was off quality product and not what they are choosing to ship. The flavor was ok. Nothing spectacular. Thr big issue was texture of the droewors and the fact that the meat had shrunk away from the casing leaving the casing inedible. See my pic. This is not what droeworse looks like. Also, being from south africa I've never heard anyone say the word ayoba....
