Installatie

Apple koppelt het scherm-IC aan het toestel voor True Tone en touch-kalibratie. Wordt de originele IC overgezet, dan minimaliseer je waarschuwingen en gedragsproblemen.

Wat is het verschil met een soft OLED?
Hard OLED is een rigide paneel: doorgaans goedkoper, met iets dikkere bezel-randen en minder ruimte om de flex op te vouwen. Soft OLED ligt dichter bij origineel.

Kan ik dit als doe-het-zelver installeren?
Alleen als je vertrouwd bent met IC-overzet en BGA-rework. Anders is dit echt professioneel werk; zonder de juiste tools beschadig je het nieuwe paneel snel.
