Doordat de buitenkant van de bumper plates gemaakt is van rubber hoef je niet bang te zijn dat je tijdens een trainingssessie schade aanricht. Ook hoef je niet te vrezen dat ze kapot vallen. Ideaal! De binnenkant is namelijk gemaakt van sterk ijzer.


Elke kleur staat voor een bepaald gewicht, heel erg handig omdat je zo snel kunt zien met hoeveel kilogram je aan de slag wil. Leuk om te weten; de kleuren en maten van de plates die je vanaf vandaag kunt bestellen, komen overeen met echte wedstrijdplates. Met een boring (de binnenring) van 50 mm ben je dus klaar voor het grote werk zoals squats, deadlifts, benchpresses. Omdat de plates geschikt zijn voor de zwaarste vormen van krachtsport kun je zonder twijfel spreken van top kwaliteit! Ga daarom dus lekker aan de slag met deze bumper plates en train als een echte pro.

Het is aan te raden de trainingsintensiviteit langzaam op te bouwen. Start dus met vijf kilo en bouw dit op naar uiteindelijk 25 kilo. Daarnaast is het van belang om iedere beweging gecontroleerd uit te voeren. Oefeningen die je met deze bumper plates kunt doen zijn onder andere; schouder- en bankdrukken, deadlifts en squatten.

wonderful trans sapphic shifter romance

When life falls apart, perhaps taking a break is just what is needed. But when Natalie (said trans woman) and Wren (loner alpha wolf) first see each other, it seems that perhaps that there might be something between them, but that just makes everything a lot more complicated. After all, a bond between a human and a wolf isn't a thing, is it? This was a wonderful read and I absolutely loved this story. Yes, while I may have a strong like of shifter stories, that also means that I also have expectations, and this story most definitely exceeded them. The trans representation was great. Natalie's struggles for acceptance, both internal and external resonating, and the difficulties that she's been through definitely resonate and are far too common of trans people. She's not a strong confident lead, but a woman who has issues and who does need the help and strength of others. She leans on others for better or for worse, but that makes her more real, and seeing her grow and become more confident as the story progresses is heart warming and wonderful. And the development of the bond - very nice! Wren is just as much a flawed character, with what's she's been through, and the knowing of the knowledge that she lacks. She starts off strong, as one would expect from a werewolf, but she also grows, becoming more than what she was in the beginning as well. For all of the angst and mistakes that are made, this is a story of growth and acceptance, of being able to gain what you actually desire, and to be able to embrace the support of others, knowing that you aren't alone in the world. It is a tale of finding love, of having a bond form, and being able to take it to the next level. This really is a wonderful sapphic shifter story, and one that I would highly recommend.

The story and characters were great. It was great to finally find a sapphic story with a trans character who was pre-op or in this case just no-op. So many authors don't want to have a trans character unless she's had surgery, like another woman won't want you if you have your original parts. Thank you so much Mrs. Abbott for the trans representation on this front. Nat and Wren are wonderful together, and I love how Wren does her best to make sure Nat doesn't ever feel less than or wrong for being herself. I am curious how being a shifter will effect Nat's transition moving forward. Hopefully there is another book and it touches on it a little.

I LOVED this book. I was sad when I finished it because every time I took a break, I knew i had something to look forward to. If that makes sense.
