Short Review:
Itβs affordable and dark-skin friendly! A rich moisturizing lotion texture, lightly fragranced, with no white cast. If you have oily skin, you don't even need to moisturize beforehand, just skip straight to this sunscreen after cleansing. (Probably wouldn't be the same for people with dry skin). Itβs at first tacky but it dries down to a smooth finish. Though this does have a shine to it that leaves your skin with a healthy dewy glow, if you have super oily skin like me, do follow up with a powder. If not after a couple of hours youβll go from glowy to a grease soaked donut.
The Story:
I was shocked that the bottle was tiny/the size of my hand (funny when Iβve been through this shock at least a hundred times when trying sunscreens from Korean and Japanese brands) but rest assured, it does do its job (at least for me) and is affordable.
Iβve struggled with finding a decent sunscreen for a good year now. Iβve tried Neutrogena Clear Face (baaad breakout), Biore Aqua Rich (breakout), Nieva UV Super Water Gel (breakout), Frudiva (okay no breakouts but heavily scented, thick lotion, and left me super shiny), Hada Labo (beautiful lightweight texture but made me break out)βbasically the struggle was real. Until I landed on Australian Gold tinted sunscreen. That stuff is magic, keeps me matte, and makes my skin look better but the darkest shade has a gray undertone so I have to follow it up with bronzer.
This sunscreen is perfect for when I donβt want to deal with the hassle of wearing my tinted sunscreen, am going out to run a quick errand, or when Iβm staying indoors the entire day. The pump is super useful, especially if you do the two finger method application method. It comes out a yellowish color but once you rub it in, it easily disappears into the skin. At first, it feels tacky, almost as if youβve applied a serum, but within 1-3 minutes it dries down to a smooth finish. It does leave a shine but nothing that a sebum or setting powder canβt handle for 4-5 hours. The big pointer is that so far no breakouts but Iβve been using this only for two days so Iβll update this if I see any changes in my skin.
Iβm super glad I found this affordable option! I was looking at Elta MD (heard it piles, especially with makeup so I held back) and La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light but luckily I decided to peak at the more affordable spectrum of sunscreen. As of now, this sunscreen is a keeper. Letβs see how it stands after a week!

I absolutely love this sunscreen! Itβs lightweight, not greasy, and blends perfectly into my skin without leaving any white cast. It keeps my skin protected and glowing all day, even in the hot sun. Iβve noticed my face feels softer and more hydrated since I started using it. Definitely one of my must-haves Iβll keep buying this one for sure!
