These women have chosen deeply personal, real world problems to shed a light on and to work towards solutions, issues such as intervening in the life of an opioid addict, reducing the possible risks of reuniting children with parents after foster care, informing U.S. consumers about carcinogens, seeking meaningful gun control, examining mental health and its effects on suicide, and helping children who live with a parent suffering from combat-related PTSD. These women have worked hard to find effective solutions using best research and persuasive writing practices at the college level.
