Healing Takes BuddiesIn this collection of newsletters, I wrote in the way that I would write in my own diary. Equipped with many transformative experiences that came from being courageously vulnerable with others and supported by a caring community who believed in me and my passionate pursuit, I wrote unapologetically, and I wrote as a means to heal. In 2017, writing poetry emerged in my life as the medium to recognize, process, and navigate the ebb and flow of my grief.

Five years later, my poetic spirit is kept aflame through the act of writing to do the same. I hope that reading my words is a dialogic experience and that it can inspire others to capture their own thoughts and experiences and share them with others too. Writing is my passion and writing takes practice. This public journal captures my endeavor to practice my passion consistently.
