There are 2 types of Fan motor in a split unit. Indoor and outdoor. Indoor refers to the fan motor in the fancoil unit. The price of indoor unit fan motor is significantly cheaper than that of the outdoor PCB board.

Outdoor fan motor refers to the fan motor in the condenser unit. The price of condenser unit fan motor is more expensive than that of the indoor fan motor. Outdoor motor usually has a higher chance of defect than the indoor motor

Our company does not repair Fan motor. We provide the entire fan motor instead. Customers will then do the replacement of the motor themselves. Do note that if you need to Troubleshoot Aircon fan motor related problems. It may be best if you leave it to experienced Aircon technician.
